Easy AVI to DVD convertor
Does anyone know of a good, free AVI to DVD convertor which either does the burning for you or leaves the output in a layout that is ready to go onto a DVD?
Cheers
Zeph

Re: Easy AVI to DVD convertor
For XP?
HHHmmm - I used to use avi2dvd
But I now use either nero or vistas dvd maker. (I know these aren't free, but you may have nero if you've not got vista).

Re: Easy AVI to DVD convertor
Free, easy and never a problem DVDflick http://www.dvdflick.net/
Just a few provisos:
Save the project before starting to convert
Have a disk ready in the DVDwriter drive
Don't have both the Xvid and DivX codecs on your PC at the same time... I suggest just DivX

The one I use is ImTOO DVD Creator. It's the dog's danglers and dead easy to use. Literally - give it the (AVI) file name, show it which drive to burn to and there you go. There are also other settings for you to tweak at your leisure.

Re: Easy AVI to DVD convertor
Nero Vision v4.whatever.
DVDSanta also does the trick but can have sync issues.

Re: Easy AVI to DVD convertor
I paid for DVDsanta, then the synch on every recording went to pot... and their tech support never replies to questions...
AVOID!
