Vista UAC question

I have a problem with DNS (I assume its sky's fault) sending bad replies which seem to get stuck in the DNS cache, when this happens with second life it cannot log in until I flush the cache.

Since this problem is not on my computer I've created a bat file to do it for the person when the problem occurs. How do I set it to automatically ask for an elevation of permissions so you don't have to press run as administrator?

There is the “Run this program as Administrator” box in the compatibility tab but it is greyed.

Re: Vista UAC question

You *may* be able to use the Task Scheduler, where you can set files to start using administrative priviledges. The trigger can be an event rather than a time.
