Keyboard Request
Hi all
I am after a reliable, smart tidy spill/water resistance easy to clean hard to bust ergonomic keyboard which I can use daily for prolonged sessions and use on gaming.
Any ideas because I am tried of keyboards getting buggered just when something spills on them.

We use these at work in dusty environments...
They're great & you can just stick them under the tap to clean them!
£28 + vat & postage for a corded one...

Re: Keyboard Request
Cheers it seems a habitual thing that stuff gets spilled on the keyboard here and I am sick to death of them breaking.
I had one bust today because some beer got split on it and not even enough to fill a brandy glass but it was enough to totally make it unusable with the up and down keys seemingly permanently active.
So basically £50 when all the costs are included....little more then I was hoping to have to payout but guess I shall have to

Forgot, we get them from a distributor. £3 cheaper here...

Re: Keyboard Request
Slightly off topic. A few years ago, well quite a few really, my son kept spilling drinks on his key board. After the second time I replaced it for him I insisted that any more replacements would come out of his pocket money. (Which eventually cured him of his habit.)
I had a sneaking sympathy for him and on the QT decided to see if I could fix one of the defunked keyboards by taking it apart and cleaning it.
It was hysterical. Once the cover came off I had bits of keys pinging off in all directions. I persevered though and Q-tipped all the mess - took ages - but I cleaned it all off. Trying to put it all back together I almost lost the will to live. Would be almost there then find that one of the keys had slipped off it's contact. Finally put all the bits I had back together only to find that I was missing the cover off the 'f' key. Never did find it---but the key board worked.
Never bothered since. Life's too short.

Re: Keyboard Request
Or just stop eating and drinking at the keyborad, then you won't run the risk of spills

Re: Keyboard Request
There is always the foldable, rollable, washable one if you need a keyboard when you are likely to spill things. https://pc-stop.co.uk/product/foldablerollable-keyboard

Using it now, got it going again nice and fine, but took ages of cleaning to sort it out and stripping it down and putting it back together.
Going to seriously consider one of those nice tap washable keyboards.
