Exporting Local Policies

I wonder if anyone has come across any software that would do the following:

If I set up say a Laptop, with the required Local Policies in place that are required then somehow take a snapshot and export this to a .exe file which can be dished out by whatever means. I know you can do Group Policies via Windows 2003 Server but as we use Linux and not all machines are connected all the time, I am trying to look for something as above. Anyone come across anything like this??

Re: Exporting Local Policys

Desktop = Windows XP Pro
Server = debian

Goal: Take a fresh built machine (windows) set the local policies to our liken, somehow make one file out of this which then can be pushed out by a login script or whatever.

Ah, ok.

Did some work on local policies a while back, but haven't really played with Windows much since then.

I'll see if I can dig anything up for you

Sounds like you need Poledit.
Have a look at this MS document.
