Samsung 226BW vs Asus MW221U
I am going to buy a new monitor in a month's time (When my exams finish) I have narrowed it down to these two. Which one should I go for?

Both are similar price... what are the advantages and disadvantages of both monitors?

Samsung 226BW
Asus MW221U

The only way to judge is to see both the monitors in action. Dont trust the reviews or our judgement.

Everyone sees things differently. For me I got a pair of Asus PW201s and to me they are awesome - nice n glossy - excellent video playback - but cant play games on them :o

For me its difficult getting an all rounder but having said that I would probably think I'd prefer the MW221U over the samsung.

The Samsung is highly rated. If you do opt for that, try to get one with an 'S' panel, not the 'A' panel.

I have a 225 (previous version) and this is a great piece of kit, got mine at CostCo as they were at least £50 cheaper than anywhere else (big Samsung seller on TV's)

I know they have the newer 226 but couldn't say how much but I think it was cheaper than my current one as I even considered running the two side by side in a dual monitor setup.

I'm just getting even more confused everytime I look now!

I'm not even sure if I should get the Samsung or the Asus now.....

There's a new LG one which looks like a bargain but I'm not sure if it's a UK model..... LG L226WTQ

Looks like a US model from what I have read,but the reviews are good.
I was confused when I had to chooose from 2,but this one seems to outweigh them both by reviews and cost.
