I have 45 Items Starting Up, and my computer takes about a min to load than normal. I have just setup my new Logitech Keyboard and mouse, so i need the software to startup for that, otherwise my keyboard, hot keys and special assigned buttons to certain tasks do not work.

Re: Services

Assuming you're asking how to remove items from startup, the simplest way is to type "msconfig" in the Run command box. Then go to the Statup tab.

disable event log.
fax if u dnt need it.
security centre-n tht shud b done from control panel as well.
task scheduler-if u dnt use the service!

Note all at your own risk! I have them disabled and it works fine for my desktop. Depends on the services u use.
