Power Cinema TV recording

Hi guys - I use PowerCinema to watch and record TV on this PC. The quality of some of the recording is not all that good and I'm wondering if there's any way to alter the record quality settings. Have looked in the on screen settings menu but can't find any mention of this facility and I can't locate a user manual for PowerCinema amongst those supplied with the PC.

Can anyone assist?

Cheers!
