Vista WDDM Drivers

I have got a fairly good laptop but the only thing that lets it down is it graphics. I have windows vista ultimate and this is my performance

Processor 3.9
Memory (RAM) 4.1
Graphics 1.9
Gaming Graphics 1.0
Primary Hard Disk 3.8

As you can see the graphics is really bad because my intergrated Mobility Radeon 9100 is not good at all. Anyway moving on... how do i make vista think that my card is capable? There is not a WDDM Driver avalible. I dont want to use the aero graphics i just want to be able to have a Index Rating Higher than its score of 1.0!

Stupid really but you know! Thanks

Re: Vista WDDM Drivers

What is the Spec/Model of the laptop because that "newish laptop" is getting worse scores than a 2-3 year old PC that I installed it on.

Re: Vista WDDM Drivers

yeah ive been a total noob and got totally mixed up with the cards in this thread someone shoot me lol

Looks like the ati driver starts support with the 9500 though. I did use an ap once for turning a catalyst driver into an igp driver it should be posted somewhere if the op wishes to search

found it for you http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/19...t-drivers.html have no idea if it will work with vista or if the link will work but worth a go maybe

Re: Vista WDDM Drivers

I used it on my laptop albeit with xp to adapt a standard ati driver to install on the integrated graphics in my laptop. IGPs tend not to use the same driver as standard gpus

Is it anything to do with my driver? I have attached the ones that were on my Driver CD

Re: Vista WDDM Drivers

The shared graphics memory won't be helping the Vista score

Re: Vista WDDM Drivers

If you want my honest opinion dude then its dump vista and tbh its a shame you activated it on that machine as it would have done justice elsewhere
