Network media players Sweex vs Freecom

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone has any experience with the above gismos but after the nightmare mentioned before with the FAT32 formatting of the 320GB drive in that Maplins thing, I'm looking at the following two which are networked (can stream media off network PCs) and support NTFS...

http://www.freecom.com/ecProduct_det...CatID=&ssCatID=

http://www.sweex.com/producten.php?s...27&artikel=700

The thing is, they both seem to be the same as something called 'Mediagate' but the casing is different...

http://www.airlinktek.com/english/prod_mg35.htm

The Freecom is about a fiver more than the Sweex but seems to be much the same thing. Is it worth saving the fiver or is Freecom a safer bet as a better known more reliable manufacturer?

Anyone with any experience of the above here?

Have a look around http://mediagate.pbwiki.com/ if you get no joy here. I've been pondering about getting myself one.. but nothing happened yet.

Re: Network media players Sweex vs Freecom

Cool, cheers for that. When I tried that site before it said the Freecom was the same as the Mediagate but not the Sweex one...
The Sweex has the same remote control so is there a good chance it's the same technology inside...

That sites really useful if so, I think the context of using customised firmware supporting FTP was a great feature (only Anonymous though)...
