Windows media player problem

I usually manage computer operating procedures well enough, but remember my Luddite roots when faced with anything more technical!

I have always found Mediaplayer (now Version 10) to be simple, but now I can't record audio disks that play on anything other than my computer. I am using CD-R disks and they won't even play on the CD in my car. They get rejected with an "error". Any suggestions, very, gratefully received.

Re: Windows media player problem

You've probably got it set to produce MP3/WMA CD's rather than proper 'CD Audio' disks. Have a look here.
Is the music DRM protected, ie purchased online?
Even better link here.
