Question Retrieve Deleted Emails in Outlook

I use OE 6 & needed to find a way to Retrieve a few Deleted Emails. No in the Sent Folder or Deleted Folder...

I look at: http://www.oemailrecovery.com/mail-retrieval.html & tested Demo. It does NOT find the "Deleted Email" only those in my Sent Folde (that I can see in Outlook anyway) lol

Any Free App? or Tip to get the Deleted Email? & I dont want a reply "Use Thunderbird" lol I now use it. But need to Retrieve Deleted Emails in Outlook

Cheers

You could check to see if they are saved on the server by going direct to your e-mail ISP!

Re: Retrieve Deleted Emails in Outlook

How long ago were they deleted?

There are some applications that will recover any deleted file from a HDD, provided that the area of the drive they sit on hasn't been overwritten of course.

You may be able to use one of these programs to recover the file, then import it back into OE.

Not sure how well it will work though, sorry.

You might be out of luck then, it's likely that you've overwritten the area of the disk that they were on (especially if you've done a defrag during that time).

Re: Retrieve Deleted Emails in Outlook

You could try DBXtract
available from Steve Cochran's MVP site
http://www.oehelp.com/DBXtract/Default.aspx

There is also the "Last Freeware" version of it available here
http://www.321download.com/under100/page2.html

Though if you have compressed your email or deleted many more emails since then it's unlikely you'll be able to recover anything.

It should do, make sure you have exited/closed OE before running DBXtract.
