Internet Radio Proxy

Hi guys, I usually have a server in work which I keep all my music on to listen to but it's not available ATM.
I frequently listen to a website called bassdrive.com in Winamp but as it connects to port 8000 (blocked in work) I cannot access it.
However, I do have access to port 8080 and have full access to my home server, which also runs Apache on this port.

Is there any kind of proxy I can run on this server to provide access to the m3u stream?

It would look like this:

bassdrive.com:8000 -> richard.phpfuture.net:8080 -> my PC:8080

Re: Internet Radio Proxy

on ur home server... can u not run a winamp shoutcast_server on port 8080... then set up Winamp and the SHoutcast_broadcasting_plugin to broadcast audio from either "Stereo mix" or "What you hear" depending on the sound card....

Then on ya home computer... tune it bassdrive.com:8000... it will then replay that... once its set up... u can just leave it running...

Yep, I sometimes listen to dnbradio.com but it's not as good.

Hmm, this Shoutcast stuff is tricky to set up.
Just to confirm, it would be like this:

bassdrive.com:8000 <internet-> richard.phpfuture.net:81 <internet-> my PC:81
