Recommend a newsgroup service please.

Hi all,
Can anyone please recommend a good newsgroup (text+other) service payable via Solo debit card? I am looking for newsgroup service only, not an ISP - but if one ISP provides newsgroup service separately - I won't have a problem.
Thanks in advance.

To the site.

I'm sure someone (probably named Paul) will be along shortly with an answer.

I personally use Claranews and have not had many problems with them over a 3 year period...

Just checked and they do not list SOLO in the card lists

Thanks for the quick reply.
I looked at the thread, the posters have suggested a number of newsservers alright but none actually says to support the debit card in the websites.
I have sent mails to clara and giganews, lets see what they say about it.

Re: Recommend a newsgroup service please.

I'm pretty sure I paid Clara with a debit card. OK, it's a Visa Delta, so may have just gone through as a Visa transaction

only problem here is there limits,on the 8th they increased there limit to 20 gig for 9.99 dollars about 6 quid, I download over 200 gig a month my service is 24.99 dollars about 13 quid. Easynews is easy (due to its web interface and zip manager) and if nntp is to much to get to grips with the easynews rocks
