Question Buying a new system online.... WHERE???

OK..... after being convinced by a couple of friends, yes i NOW use that term loosely , that buying my new PC and various peripherals etc from Dell would be a good idea now that my pc is dying.... I'm now left in a mess with a old pc that lurches from instability to shutdown for hours and am in a bit of a rush to buy one that night actually arrive before the end of the year elsewhere

Without going into the whole Dell saga.... what i'd like help with is suggestions of sites that allow you to configure your new system and then supply you with the complete package. I have no time to build my own and certainly don't have the experience to do it quickly....
I've used MESH in the past and have had suggested Evesham Technology more recently.... both these sites allow me to configure the pc etc and then deliver it as ordered.

If anyone has any sites to suggest that they've used or know to be reputable and reliable..... please TELL ME!!!

I'd be really grateful..... and if you're a person that's going to be in Manchester on the 4/10.. there'll be a pint for you if the site proves fruitful

And if anyone suggests i try Dell again.....

As far as Dell is concerned i think it may have a better reputation with it's business accounts.... but over the last few days i've discovered that they rank quite highly on a few lists of companies that have unresolved and continuing complaints....
I have just become another statistic

Don't worry boys.... i blame Dell Computers not you

Thanks Defiant... will check your suggestions out

Sensei Katana is an unknown quantity at this point
If it helps, I'm running an Evesham PC here with the universely hated Win. ME - and it's as stable as a brick!

I've had no problems with Evesham - you also get (and this is the biggie that sometimes swings it) 2yrs on-site guarantee with it as well. A 3rd yrs option is available for another £100 or so, but it's optional.

Believe me, it would be well worth your while having a serious think about buying an Evesham.

Thanks for that... a few happy customers with Evesham.... just as many happy Dell customers though
May try a few more configurations with their systems and decide tomorrow.... if DELL doesn't get back to me with assurance that my pc will arrive by mid next week and has double the ram free to go with the poxy printer they've already offered me
