I'm using 1.0PR too, not sure why I'd need extensions.
Seems that other people have trouble with earlier releases too.

Re: Firefox problems
Just a thought, as out of date or incompatible extensions could theoretically cause conflicts within the host program ie the brower itself.
But then I could just be talking c***, it's hard to tell sometimes

Re: Firefox problems
There's something wrong with the way the browser is being handled by the ASP script on the dezrez.com server.
As it's written in ASP and works fine in IE, it's obvious the developers haven't tested it in Mozilla.

Re: Firefox problems
Has anybody tried it with the User Agent String set to minic IE? That way you could find out whether it's a problem with Firefox, or the server trying to do something funny with Mozilla.

Re: Firefox problems
Another thing, quite important, how do you speed up the page rendering with Firefox? Also, why do textarea's not wrap automatically without resorting to using non XHTML compliant code?

Yeah, the site's I've looked at recommended changing settings on config entries that didn't exist, they must have changed them since releasing the latest version.

Re: Firefox problems
I've done some more testing and with the user agent set to IE WinXP it still fails.
The headers are showing no response from the dezrez.com server at all.

Re: Firefox problems
Heh, this has to be THE slowest browser I've ever used! I think I've given it the benefit of the doubt now, it's still far more bug ridden than IE and is far slower. I also gave Thunderbird a quick try too, when it crashed trying to import my email settings and mail from Outlook, I laughed and uninstalled it. I'd much rather just install patches for IE and Outlook as they're released and carry on using more reliable software.
