Does nothing you own have an ethernet card?

You can set it up wirelessly, plug a wireless card in and connect to the router, it's a bit more fiddely as when you change the security settings you will wave bye bye to your connection until you change them on the PC as well, but apart from that it can be done.

If you need to connect onto a wired connection - just connect the usb-ethernet adaptor to the first port of the router (the first of the bank of 4 marked "LAN".).

boot the pc after connecting, and make sure that the XP firewall is disabled.

you should then be able to get a browser up and connect to 192.168.1.1 - and you should be connected.
