Help ! Strange problem

Hmmm...

This is a good one.... All of a sudden I cant access internet explorer on one of my windows box's. When launching the app I get the error on the image bellow.
There are no virus's or spyware apps on the system as I have just completed a full system scan and the file permitions on the file and folder are o.k.

I cant find other instances of this error on google.

Any ideas ?

Re: Help ! Strange problem

ok, sorry

Stu, You've been messing too much

Was smegs involved ?

Anyway .... try copying the IE folder to a different name or running the IExplore.exe from the folder direct, i.e. not a shortcut ...

Does it work ?

Nope... I cant launch I explore directly. All the security permitions are intact and a re-install of IE does not help. Cant understand this one at all.

I have seen this once before on a customers machine. I ended up having to re-install the os

All files in the IEXPLORE.EXE folder set to read only or the temporary internet files folder that is being used for the user logged on?

Do you have Kerio installed?

Re: Help ! Strange problem

Yep... Just removed IE from the list and started it again.. No joy.

Looks like a kerio bug. There are no other denied apps on the list.
