System Restore

Arrrg.... I have a pc here that I am sorting out that is riddled with virus's and trojans.

The system restore folder is infected so the antivirus software is having problems cleaning or removing the files.

Anyone here know how to switch of system restore on me ??? I cant find the options...

Please

Re: System Restore

Should be in Control Panel, System, then System restore tab.

Hopefully that helped

Re: System Restore

Nope - First place I checked... I know its there on windows xp but there is no trace of it on this windows ME system...

Thanks for the sugestion though

Edit - the antivirus software cant clean the files as ME as marked them as " in use " even in safe mode. Perhaps deleting them in dos would be the way to go ?

Re: System Restore

I've come into this thread a bit late, seeing as the issue is now sorted.
