New site launched.
Note to mods: Please move this post to the appropriate forum if needbe
Hi again guys...
Me and my friends have been working on a new ADSL information site for about 2-3 months now and are finally ready to launch it. Before we do, we would like your genuine opinions, suggestions and comments on both the design and the content.
Please bear in mind, the site is not and never will be aimed at competing with "ADSL Guide". We have the upmost respect for them and always have done.
We are just a bunch of guys who are getting together to help people understand more about ADSL and what it's all about ( especially with ntl's incompetence sometimes )
I won't waffle on too much, so here's the site:
http://www.dslzoneuk.net
Once again, please let us know anything you want to say about DSL ZoneUK.
And please feel free to use the facilites we have available so far.
James

Re: New site launched.
Perhaps a PM to the Mods beforehand would have been in order.

Re: New site launched.
Yeah. Good point and noted. Didn't think
As I said, mods: feel free to move it to wherever suits you best - have no problem with that.

No problem, but please get rid of Gtr Manchester in your profile, be proud of the fact that you live in Lancashire.

Nah :P Oldham is Greater Manchester
Shaw is Oldham - therefore Gt. Manchester
Altho according to BT, Oldham is Manchester but Shaw is Lancashire (yet Shaw is in Oldham )

Re: New site launched.
Normally I'd remove that link but I think it's an interesting site.
I'll do you a deal, if you link to us I'll leave it there.

This could get messy, but Rochdale is also "technically" in Gtr Manchester. it even has an Oldham "OL" postcode. gonads to BT, be true to your roots, ignore artificially imposed boundaries and be proud of your historical heritage. YOU ARE IN LANCASHIRE.
Edited to replace B........s with the correct medical definition.

Theres as not as many as there seems - I've looked into this.
And we've tried to provide pages that users will be interested in, and what other sites don't provide

Agreed - looks like a pretty good starting point...
I hope it goes well for you.. (If nothing else, it'll give me somewhere to send my work associates who want advice on Broadband, who aren't getting NTL )

Re: New site launched.
I agree with Iadom, very clean and tidy looking site. One thing that crossed my mind is that perhaps it looks at little too clean. There is very little colour in the site. Personally, I like that, but to others it may be a little 'boring'?
