But only £29.99 for average users - isn't that the same price as SpamInspector?

Re: Bopspam
I've been using the 'message rules' within outlook express (yes i know, everyone advises against using it, but i've tried a few other email programs and keep coming back to OE) and it works quite well. I can choose not to download any messages with certain keywords in the subject, then i have a filter for downloaded messages, where if they contain keywords they are deleted and marked as read. I'd actually like to see a plug-in though, where i could use basic expressions as well as keywords. To get around the buggers that are putting punctuation in the middle of words, etc. On average i was getting about 250 spam mails a day on my main email account, now i only get to see around 40-50 a day, the rest are taken care of by the 'message rule' filter. Which i'm pretty impressed with, and it also doesn't accidentally delete anything i don't want, as my filter is set to only delete if it's not from a list of 'allowed' email addresses.

Re: Bopspam
Spampal, plus a few good blacklists, is also quite effective - there are other plugins, such as REGEX, including a scoring based filter, or one that uses the dialup/dynamic return code from certain blacklists on only the IP address going in to the final server (direct mail from user operated SMTP) - FREEWARE, as all my favourite picks are!

I'll second that. I don't get much spam on ntl, but my gf does, and I set up Spampal for her, and it's been quite effective. And, as you say: It's FREE
