Mr laforge, come to the bridge immediately
ever wanted to use that communicator on star trek....... the button press on the chest, known as a lapel, shout a name and be connected to that person ?
well now you can, thanks to a technology firm it has created a network using WiFi and servers to enable it to be used in various areas such as hospitals..

OH no! I can't think of anything worse. At least you can leave the mobile behind when you go to the loo.Now the boss can get you whenever he feels like it.There's no getting lost or incommuncado with one of these.

lol - it's not intended to be implanted, Incog, you can take it off
- just a fancy pager, really, the suggested use in hospitals sounds like it could be a good idea?

yes its good for hospitals, instant contact with doctors, suregons, instead of the current paging system, it can be of a benefit to patients as well as people who work in the hospitals for a fast efficent response to emergencies, and even possible patient consultation and checkup efficency.

anywhere that's a big site & needs good communication, oil rigs, chemical factories etc could benefit from this, noise cancelling might be a problem, though.
