hi,
ive gone and purchased some dvd-r media from a company 2 find my drive wont write it at the speed stated (x4) but it will write it at (x2) but its unreadable in my PS2, dvd player or computer.
i've done some research on the disc i got (DATA WRITE READ V2) and it turns out its a cheapy make made by a company called PRINCO.
I am angry and frustrated at the predicament im now in. I have 50 of these useless pieces of plastic and if i try and return them 2 the place i got them
http://www.cd-rmedia.co.uk i fear they are gonna tell me they will refund but i will have 2 pay the postage. im angry that ive paid for something useless and should never be sold. can i complain 2 trading standards. any idea what i can do? i got these discs because i was using the yellow datawrite classic disks (sometimes associated with the name BULKPAQ) and i thought these discs would be fine because from same manufacturer.
any advice appreciated or stories of people who've been in a similar predicament would be encouraging.
