So is this spec better than the three processors the xbox 360 has? And will there be a differnce noticed as a result of the shader calculations of the 360 nearly half that of the ps3?

Well, the PS3 isn't anywhere near release yet, plus Sony like to BS about specs & abilities even more than M$ do, so who knows.
They both say their console will be the best...I think they'll probably end up being pretty comparable.

Read that the cost to buy developement kits to work on PS3 is horrendous, and they (games developers) say it going to be a nightmare to programme for, hence a lot of minds changing, and more previous sony developers going over to Xbox 360.
