Killzone 3

Killzone 3 has been announced. It will also be playable in 3D though I read its not really worth the trade off for the frame rate drop atm. Also read there will be a new easier control system and it will use the full power of the PS3 this time round though we've heard that for alot of games now. Am looking forward to it either way

Website with first trailer - http://www.killzone.com/kz3/agegate.html

Quote:
Killzone 3 is an upcoming 2011 first-person shooter for the PlayStation 3, developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It is the fourth installment in the Killzone series and the first game in the series to be presented in 3D.

I thought you'd played it. Its a really good game. I'm not sure how it would stand up now facing some of the brilliant games that have been comming out but it certainly is worth a go.

Re: Killzone 3

Been playing the kz3 open beta and the issues with kz2 have been fully addressed , had about ten games maybe more ... No lag , no disconnects and its only the beta ....looks like black ops is gong to be left in it's case.

Its not out until tomorrow (although I know a lot do arrive today)

But even so, you must have had a lot of spare time on your hands! :-)

Re: Killzone 3

I got the collectors edition today. I enjoyed Killzone 2's MP but it did feel a bit heavy sometimes. Also the amount of bullets that you would have to use was ridicules. Has that been sorted?

Yeah , much improved and much more responsive controls although I wasn't that bothered about kz2 controls , they just took some getting used too !! , bullet damage has been improved also , give it a try.
