Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Grand Theft Auto IV, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Devil May Cry 4 just to name a few of my ps3 faves in no paticular order

MGS4 Brilliant even if you havent played the others.
Drakes Fortune - Excellant game. Bit like tomb raider with a male lead instead.
GTA IV if you dont have it for another console.
Hotshots Golf Out Of Bounds for fun and if you like golf.
Resistance Fall Of Man - Great game but gets some bad reviews because its always compaired against Gears Of War.
Motostorm is not bad if your looking for a racing game to.
Sid miers civilization if you dont have if for another console.
Pro Evolution soccer 2008 if you dont have on Pc or another console.
Games to look forward to are - Killzone 2 (not till early next year now), SOCOM Confrontation (out soon), Resistance 2 (Looks amazing tbh) Dead Space, Siren Blood curse, Resisdent Evil 5 and many many more comming soon. (Probably missed load's to)
Good luck with your choices. Theres alot more avalible now than there was at launch and also theres a lot more to look forward to

Uncharted Drakes Fortune - good but too short
GT5 Prologue - good but I'm waiting for the full thing
I also quite like Rainbox Six Vegas (apparently 2 is good too, I haven't played it but my boss raves about it).

Its the same one. Its also includes all the update packs so far.

I just got it recently and think its brilliant. Alot better than the new NFS game. Well worth checking out.

Need for speed undercover was terrible. Suffers random crashes, car's fall through the graphics sometimes, Car sometime just stops. Very, Very buggy game.
LBP is brillinat. Always new user content so it never gets old playing the same old levels. Its basically a platformer played with comfort(The advert) like characters called sackboys.
You can also create your own levels for you and others to play on.
