Office connection.

I have a broadband connection and pc in my office and was wondering what I would need to play ps2 online through this connection. It's on a network though, does this cause problems. (and would my employer know ?)
Can anyone help?

Thanks

to Cable Forum.

Not quite sure what you mean. I assume you are intending to take your PS2 into the office to play games on it during lunchtimes, etc? If so, you could try plugging the PS2 into the office network, but there's every probability that your playing games would soon show up on system logs to your employer, that's if it would work past office firewalls and the like.

Re: Office connection.

Yes, you got it. It gets pretty quiet around here at weekends and evenings. We have an ethernet adapter here which all the pc's are connected to, if I just plugged in to that would it work. Its worth a try I suppose

They don't mind surfing the net in my office as long as the work is done, well they've never said anything to me and I've surfed a lot over the past 5 years.

Re: Office connection.

It's very unlikely that you will get your PS2 connection out through your corporate firewall I'm afraid.

Re: Office connection.

Even if they have let you surf for years, I doubt they will like you plugging in an unapproved piece of hardware into their network.
