I bought a Silver PS2 today after doing some hefty frog marching around on my launch break this afternoon. I have owned a black PS2 before thought i'd go for a colour change.

okay well my lady friend is saying lets get the black one as it would match more of the stuff we have, has the black one same improvements or is it still clunky noisey and very annoying on grand theft auto with clucky clicky all way through game

my ps2 makes clicking sounds and whirrs a lot, is it dying?

Well my old one, which i used to play Grand Theft Auto Vice City alot clunked alot and in that game it reads disk alot and it was irritating to me listening to clunk clink clunk clink all the time.


Hope the new ones are quieter

Many people say that the DVD drive doesn't open with a Turtle clunk anymore and the fans are "noticeabley" quiter so I guess its all you need!

few things

1) does the drive when running a game such as need for speed underground or Grand Theft Auto Vice City clunk clunk clunk away or is it smoother.

2) do they have infa red

3) will they make coffee and hoover room when im drunk and spill peanuts all over floor?
