32. Can I connect my Xbox to my computer monitor?
Yes you can connect your Xbox to your computer monitor using the 3rd party device called the
X2VGA, which supports up to 1080i resolution (the same as the Xbox High Definition AV pack), and a toslink audio connector for Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound support.
Microsoft disables the high-definition video output on the PAL version Xbox(only sold in Europe, Australia, NZ, Hong Kong etc.), so it cannot work normally with the X2VGA. However, the Xbox consoles sold in North America, Japan, etc. which belong to the NTSC version, will work fine with X2VGA. Please take note of this in advance. They will not accept exchange or refund for this cause.
33. What should I do if I am having trouble loading a Grand Theft Auto save file?
Attempt the following troubleshooting steps:
Verify that your Xbox's time and date are set correctly
Verify you did not shut off your Xbox while saving a game
Verify the disc is clean
Try using other games in your Xbox, do you have the same problem?
34. What does it mean when the light on the front of my Xbox is flashing green and orange?
This flashing pattern indicates you do not have the AV cable in the rear of your Xbox connected properly, shut off your Xbox, reconnect it and try again.
35. What does it mean when the light on the front of my Xbox is orange?
This indicates your Xbox is overheating (and is protecting itself by not allowing usage), ensure you have 6 inches of space on each side of the Xbox and your Xbox is off of any soft materials such as carpet that may block the ventilation openings.
36. What does it mean when the light on the front of my Xbox is flashing a color that includes red?
Your Xbox has an internal problem, and will need to be repaired. Please continue to the bottom of the page to the section on getting official Xbox support.
