next generation nintendo console to ship on time

nintendo has denied speculation that the gamecube's sucessor would be shipping in to 2007 or later, the company says it will be launched in time, so that they can compete with sony and microsoft.

interestingly, it seems the new console will retain the current consoles aspect of providing an 'alternative' gaming experiance.

But its also reproted over at http://gamesradar.msn.co.uk/news/def...sectionid=1587 that we wont be seeing the "N5" untill e3 next year!

Although we will see the Nintendo DS - which is rumoured to have a tocuh sensitive screen!
