Its a rubbish name for a console, however its easy to remember.
I have heard that the Nintendo Wii is only 2-3 times more powerful than the Gamecube.

Yeah its not as powerful but it has a lot of backing and boasts some great games. That's what Nintendo are good at. Simple yet addictive games.
So youl have the regular Nintendo clan buying it and then you will have the ones that want to try out the new hardware.....tiliting controllers, etc.
The full power of this alternative gaming interaction will probably be unveiled in the next few weeks at E3.
Plus unlike other consoles, it should be cheaper which is good.
The name is ridiculous but it does stick in peoples minds. Its easily pronouncable in any language, and is fun.
