removing Wii remote

Hi all,

I've goolged the life out of this so lets hope someone can help

I have a faulty Wii remote and it's player 1, How do i remove it so i can replace it with the new remote i got.

Best bet would probably to read the manual that comes with the console/controllers.

Isn't it just a case of turning the new controller on and syncing it. Which ever remote is on first when the console boots up becomes the main one?

What about taking the batteries out and resetting another controller with the 2 red buttons

on the home screen why not reset controller 2 only so that it become controller one, sometimes that works

If when you first switch the Wii on you press A & B with the remote you wish to use this should re-set this as remote 1.
