New Links course for download!
This just in from a games industry press site:
------
BREATHTAKING KAPALUA GOLF COURSE NOW AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD FOR LINKS 2004 ON XBOX®
LONDON, 20th February 2004 - Xbox® today announced today the arrival of new downloadable content for the popular Xbox golf series, "Links 2004." Beginning today, European golfers will be able to download the Plantation Course at Kapalua via Xbox® LiveTM for £2.47/€4.99 ・a great (and economical) way to leave chilly European winters behind and indulge in some tropical golf, Hawaiian-style.
The par 73, 7,263-yard Plantation Course at Kapalua in Hawaii, the opening event on the professional tour, joins a host of free and premium content already available on Xbox Live. Each January, the course hosts an elite field of the previous year's winners. The grand scale of the course designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore unfurls across natural geographic formations and pineapple plantation fields that take your breath away. The addition of Kapalua brings the total number of courses in "Links 2004" to ten. "Links 2004" also features real international courses like St Andrews, Loch Lomond, Grey Wolf, Four Seasons Resort Aviara and New South Wales just to name a few.
With the cold weather keeping most golfers in doors for the winter, "Links 2004" offers a variety of exciting options for play. Gamers can compete in Stroke, Match Play, Nassau, Skins, Stableford, Best Ball and even Alternate Shot matches. Players can also select the player count, course and course conditions for their match. In addition, "Links 2004" offers online play via Xbox Live. Golfers from all over the world are coming together for a round of golf and "Links 2004" now offers a new "Fast Play" mode, where golfers play simultaneously (not turn based) and a full round can be completed in a fraction of the normal time. And, as part of the XSN Sports brand, "Links 2004" offers gamers the ability to create and compete in their own online golf tournaments via Xbox Live while keeping track of hard-earned stats on their own virtual sports page, the centralized website XSNsports.com.

Have downloaded it and looks good.
Don't think it can be used as part of your career but ok for single round and Live.
Took ages to DL...6300ish blocks...about 15-20mins!

Where do these downloads sit? - I assume on the HDU, are they the same .CRZ files that the PC version uses - I wonder?

Re: New Links course for download!
Is it worth the download? My only complaint about the game is that the courses are all very mundane and samey. I'm working through the career and not too far from 'completing' it, because I want to unlock the 'fantasy' Ocean Mill course, just for a change.

I got it yesterday - not played on it much, mind. I could really have done with completing the rest really!
