So...
There I am browsing the pages of this month's Official
XBOX Magazine, when I spot an ad from our very own (advert friendly :p ) ntl advertising the BB + Console 'service' for use with
XBOX Live......
Not a problem with
that I hear you say, but it was the small print at the bottom of the ad that caught my eye.....

ntl home Broadband + Console service requires a standalone cable modem (provided free by ntl), existing broadband via set top box customers contact customer services.

So, pray tell ntl-what have you told your CSRs to say when this little 'query' gets asked??
I know that
XBOX Live can't be used via an STB, I also know of the problems that were encountered during the original 'trial' (as I was a part of it)
So-what I want to know is why the advert doesn't simply say that it is not available to BB via STB customers.....(probably because that would be too honest & a totally alien concept to ntl

)
