Is this the one where your meant to sign your mate up to Xbox Live and get a free game?

I didnt get that email today, but I got it a while back. Or is this a completly new offer?

Don't know if the deal is still being offered.

However, I received an email about a new deal M$ is offering. If you buy an XBL subscription between now and July 31st, you get a free game from any of the current online titles. Not sure if it applies to the UK. Its not much use to any of us , unless you know someone who is going to buy a subscription.

I think this is a new offer.....where you sign up and you get a free game.....MS probably relasied that the other one wasn't working

Infact, I heard some people have tried very ahrd to sign people up...then once they have signed up the new XBL user forgets the referrer, then he/she loses out on the game....I bet that can be annoying.

I hope no-one new to XBL on this forum has done this! *cough*

Yes, I got the email this morning.

Its not quite the same deal as "the sign your mate up one". Rather its if you buy a subscription between now and July31st, you get to choose a free online title.

Didn't bother. Just tell them to go to xbox.com and do a search for the offer.

i found it the other day but now i can't locate it on any official xbox site.

i can't even remember if it was UK applicable or just US. Game had an offer of LIVE and one game for Ã‚Â£50 last week but now i want t the offer has finished. typical!

can anyone post a link or send details on where to find this embedded offer.

no, that's the thread which has a link which refers back to the thread.

hmm, i was on xbox. co.uk or .com. it wasn't the easiest route to finding the offer but now two days later and i just can't remember where it was.

maybe it's gone!

btw, it's not as simple as going to xbox live part of the websites. the starter kit order form/link states nowhere of this offer nor anywhere it should be.

Has anyone recieved there free game from this offer yet, they said they were sending them from the 1st July. Got my fiancee to recommend me so we're keeping the game in family!
