Question Xbox Live using a Belkin F5D8230-4

I am trying to connect to Xbox Live using a Belkin F5D8230-4 router. If I connect Xbox directly to cable modem Xbox live is okay, but wired off a port on the router, I get on Xbox Dashboard, Cables connected, IP settings configured, DNS resolved, "Xbox Live not found". I have tried putting the IP address of Xbox in DMZ on router config, but still same error. Im obviously missing something simple.

Anyone any ideas?

Re: Xbox Live using a Belkin F5D8230-4

I'm not sure your router is actually compatible: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/xb...aq/routers.htm

Although it should work, M$ don't actually list it.

to the site.

Agreed the router is not listed on MS site as approved or not. On Belkins web site it says that it is compatible with Xbox Live and Playstation 2, but not sure exactly what they mean be compatible.

Try powering everything off, & then on again 30 seconds later.
