Connecting to xbox 360 live using wireless router

Hi i bought a D-link DI-624+ (which is xbox 360 compatible) and the xbox 360 wireless networkign adapter.
i connected the dlink DI-624+ router using the instructions and i connected the xbox 360 adapter to the xbox 360 console.
when i try to connect it says that my wireless connection is not connected (this is on the xbox 360 screen) and it wont connect.
I havnt got security on my router (WEP Key or WPA passphrase) and other than that i dont know what to do.
Can anybody help me?

What firmware has the router got?
I notice on the XBOX site that you need specific firmware: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/xb...aq/routers.htm

I called up d-link and i downloaded the latest firmware version 2.09
but dont forget this is d-link DI-624+

If you follow my link above you will see that 2.09 firmware is not officially supported/recognised/mentioned.

It would appear you need v2.03 from here.

Hi Again about the xbox 360 networking adapter is there anything i need to do to set it up before conencting.
i,v read on the internet i need to enter in on the system slide on the xbox 360 dashboard and choose the corresponding Wi-Fi network and also pop in my network details.
Do i need to do this because i havnt yet and what are my network details?
