Does XBOX Live have to stay on same NTL settop box it was setup on?

Hi,

Sorry if this question has already been answered I did briefly search but couldnt find out.

Dont know if it matters but this is for the XBOX not the XBOX 360.

Ive looked in XBOX FAQ but cant find answer in there but maybe didnt look hard enough.

My brother got XBOX live with 12 months subscription. He is getting broadband soon but hasnt got it yet.

When you setup XBOX live does it only work on wherever you set it up or can you set it up on several places?

Like if I set it up on my broadband NTL cable settop box so he can play it on that, will he still be able to set it up on the same 12 month subscription in his house when he gets NTL broadband or not?

It is my belief that the subscription is linked to the Xbox, and stored on the hard disk. You should be able to move the xbox anywhere in the country (via any broardband connection), and it will still recognise you.

What you can't do, is have the same subscription on more than 1 xbox at a time!
