x box multiplayer issue
when me and my son are playing call of duty multiplayer with 2 seperate consoles online, why does it start lagging , they are both old x boxes that are not wireless, they are hard wired so its not a wireless issue..there is a signal strength icon in the corner and it drops considerably when both of us are playing in the same match....any ideas...

Re: x box multiplayer issue
Could be a NAT issue. It could also be because it's processing all the information twice. Does it lag for both of you?

Re: x box multiplayer issue
What you might need to do is give each xbox a static IP (done via the xbox)
then access your routers port forwarding and enter the IP address you set for the xboxes then the start port 53, end port 3074 for both.
I did this for mine and COD said "open" rather than "restricted".

If you do what I said in my previous post that should change moderate to open.
