Re: X Box 720
Without a doubt. People are infatuated with recording themselves playing and Microsoft know that, hoping Sony don't include it in the PS4, making it a massive selling point (to those that do it, I don't get it, seems pointless to me).
I'm sure some US cable company already does DVR on the 360 and Microsoft want you to have one box that rules them all under your TV so it'll no doubt be on the 720 or what-have-ya.

Re: X Box 720
For starters microsoft have already said it will not be called the xbox 720 this is a myth..and also don't hold your breath man it will be another 3-5 years before the 360 is replaced.
infact microsoft have also said that the xbox360 is good to go untill the year 2017....

Re: X Box 720
But without official confirmation, it's still the stuff of exciting speculation rather than timetabled reality.

Re: X Box 720
The 360 has been on life support (hardware wise) for years, if they don't reveal it at E3 I'l eat my hat.

Re: X Box 720
It'll be announced at E3 along with the PS (probably 4, since Sony aren't very creative with names)
but I doubt we'll see it on the shelves until [at the earliest] Q4 2013 in US ...Q2 2014 in UK / Europe

Re: X Box 720
The console market can't hobble on as is for the next 5 years and at least next E3 seems a prime time for a reveal bearing in mind what void says above in terms of rtm and retail.
Kotaku are usually well on-the-ball with their sources. The only people who will have anything negative to say about this are the third-party developers.

Some people speculated it would be unveiled at CES,but it wasn't,as I thought.
I have to say I agree with you... Xmas 2013 we'll have the new Xbox,I'll bet a quid on it.

2014 i will say @ the earliest but it will be more like 2015..
it would be madness to release a new console the way the world economy is atm...it will take 2-3 years for that to improve..then we will see a new console
