How do I cancel my Xbox live account?

Hello all,

this is probably the stupidest question you've heard all day, but hey I do not need the answer, I brought the xbox live subscription last month and have around 2 months left? would this be setup as a Direct Debit or would I need to cancel this? and how?

I had to phone them to cancel mine.

you need to phone Xbox Support on 0800 587 1102 to cancel. but be prepared to be given the third degree lol

Quick update, finally got off the phone with Xbox live support!
after many questions for both security and marketing purposes its finally cancelled,
they did try to keep my by offering 40% off the year subscription, temping but no

make sure you phone them back to check it has defo been cancelled because i had trouble with them failing to cancel it twice.
