Best NAS UpNp
Hi all,
Anyone got a ethernet NAS that they use with the 360?
I currently use a pc to hold my music etc but want to move towards the above and just hide it away with my modem/router etc.
Seems to be a lot of conflicting evidence on stuff working first time with no setup nightmares!
Budget £100 to include HDD

Re: Best NAS UpNp
Great,
Does it read the files easily? I had one last year, erm a netgear which would only read certain files and the file path could not contain a . or a symbol in anyway

Bit dearer than I wanted to pay but how would this one do?

If however you do decide to go for a different make, make sure you DONT get one that is FAT32 format as these are only capable of holding files up to 4 gig and although they can be re-formatted to other file types it removes there network capability

Re: Best NAS UpNp
I'm after a NAS drive, but I would like wireless & one that can connect to a TV, so you can play you videos on the TV.

Just plug it into your router and you can access it through your router's wireless. Hook the laptop you're playing a video on up to the TV and you're away...

I'm looking for more of a HDD that doesn't need the laptop being on.
I've seen them but without wireless.

Re: Best NAS UpNp
Back again,
Any idea if this would work for streaming to the 360's without any issues?
