360 USB Hub
All,
Does anyone know if a 360 will work with a USB 1 or USB 2 hub?
Thanks in advance
Martin

Re: 360 USB Hub
I beleive the ports are USB 2, either should be cross compatible though, USB 1 hardware will run at USB 1 rates in a USB 2 port and USB 2 hardware will run at USB 1 rates in a USB 2 port, however, wether the USB 2 hardware will work properly in a USB 1 port due to bandwidth contraints depends entirely on the peripheral device itself

Re: 360 USB Hub
I cannot see why any USB hub shouldn't work. (OK it might need to be powered)
There are 3 ports on the 360, one at the back is primary for wifi. and the two at the front are used for controllers, webcam, keyboard, HDD & mp3 device.
I guess there are people out there who have needed to connect more than 2 at one time.

Re: 360 USB Hub
Both Guitar Hero World Tour and Rockband (so I assume other incarnations of the 'band in a box') come with a mains powered USB hub

LOL, cheaper for me to cycle to Asda and pay £5 than petrol and parking to get to my poundland in town
