A strange one it would seem, I don't have much experience with wireless connections as all my consoles are wired apart from one.
Also I have never assigned static ip's to wireless devices before. Its not possible is it that youve chose an IP address that is being shared with another connection, e.g. your laptop, so this might be causing some sort of conflict.
When I do mine I tend use IP address's that are no where near the others for eg if the router automatically starts with the first connected device using 192.168.1.1 then I set up my consoles using 192.168.1.
20,
So because I know that I only use 7 or 8 ip address's max setting the last value to
20 is well out the way of the other devices, so no conflict can occur.
I,m no expert so I may be talking nonsense but this is what I do to avoid issues.
I suppose its possible your router is acting up and not actually doing what your asking it to do.
