xbox live question?

hi to all, and a merry xmas to everyone ,i would like a little help please

i have 2 kids the eldest has been into xbox a while ,now the youngest is there too,ive just bought her a console for xmas,i am running a 20 mtr ethernet cable to his bedroom , he says the wireless adapters are not very good and prefers a cable ! now my question is do i have to run 2 ethernet cables upstairs or is there adapter to run the 2 consoles off 1 ethernet,i am using a orange livebox modem if that helps ,any assist in this would be smashing

You need a hub/switch that plugs into your livebox's ethernet port and then allows more than one ethernet connected to it.

The livebox is already a router so a hub/switch is more than adequate. They come in 4-16 ports and for a 4-5 port you should get one from ebay for less than a tenner.

I've only ever used wireledd on xbox, and I've never had any problems.

wireless n adapters are now available from Amazon £54.90 you would of course need a n router aswell unless you already have one
