Cannot access EA Servers with uPnP enabled on my router

It's a Thompson Speedtouch 576.

With uPnp enabled, Xbox Live functions great. I have an open NAT and a good connection.

However, if I try any of the EA games I have, I can't access their servers unless I disable uPnP. This gives me a strict NAT.

I have forwarded the Live and game ports from portforward.com and double checked their instructions exactly.

Many sites discuss putting your 360 in the DMZ but that's no good to me because I have 2 360s running off a switch (all my problems still occur when the 360 is directly connected to the router).

Can anyone help?

Thanks a lot.

Hi I have the same router and am having the same problem, I was wondering weather or not you had sorted this out and if so, how? Thank you very much, Martin

Re: Cannot access EA Servers with uPnP enabled on my router

I had a similar problem with my netgear router and xbox that might help

I was having problems connecting my 360 to XBL and COD:MW2 was stating NAT as moderate.

I solved it my setting my 360 with a fixed IP address, then in my routers
Port Forwarding / Port Triggering setting entered the IP that I had entered in the 360 plus opened ports 54 to 3074.

Know my 360 runs perfect and NAT is open.

My router also has a UPnP setting which can me enabled/disabled
