Actually, they were all downloaded to your hard drive in the last big upgrade. Some people found out how to unlock them on the hard drives without paying and consequently if you look at the forum on xbox.com that deals with people whining about being banned (Account suspensions and Player Feedback), you'll see a load of people recently had permanent account bans for "for modification and/or theft of marketplace assets". When you buy a piece of avatar clothing or whatever, the download is just some code to unlock it on your xbox. The actual avatar stuff is already there.

Fair enough I stand corrected. They would only be small anyway. Most other things on the Market place would be hosted externally though. I remember before the big update you could claim a free memory stick or get a cheaper HD from them or something along them lines so you wouldn't of really been missing out had you choose to do that.

It's a shame you can't pick and choose what you want from the updates.

Very Good They are in a Hidden Sector on the HDD and Can Only be Accessed Using a XPORT OR XSATA HDD transferer And even when you get them on your pc... They are encrypted
