I've never really liked Halo, but this looks interesting. I might rent it before buying it to see what it is like. And I agree, that is a pretty good cast. Were any of them in Halo 3?

I did not know until I read here:- http://www.computerandvideogames.com....php?id=220135 that the game comes on two discs:-

Why release the game on two discs? Would it not fit on one?

Bakken: Absolutely. The Halo 3 Mythic disc, which is the multiplayer experience, has 24 maps, Forge, Save Films, File Share - everything from Halo 3 apart from the Halo 3 campaign. When we shipped the original Halo 3 disc we were hitting the maximum with the 11 maps, the full campaign and all that stuff, so with the Mythic disc, there was really only room for that.

And ODST's campaign is big enough that we had to go for a separate disc for that. And it has its own title ID, so it has it's own set of 1000 Achievements.

So disc 1 is the single player campaign, and disc 2 is basically the Halo 3 multiplayer with every map released so far plus some exclusive maps. Nice
