Worth trying the Xclamp fix

I have a 360 that will just display artefacts and freeze but not RROD or error codes

I'm pretty sure its the GPU overheating

Think I temporarily fixed it with a towel trick but was considering taking it to bits and redoing the heatsinks.

It's not a major problem if I screw it up as my housemate has one and leaves his connected to the main tv in the frontroom (so i usually use his anyway) looking at ebay I think i'd need this kit?

I've been told that they are not very good and can break down again. This can be anything from a couple weeks to a couple months. I think its just luck of the draw really m8.

Re: Worth trying the Xclamp fix

Thing is, if its out of warranty you have nothing to lose, X-clamp not much and could sort your box out.
