Rock Band 2 sound issues

Recently, I've been noticing some sound issues during the game. I connect my Xbox 360 (1st generation) to my TV via the component cables.

When I preview a song on the set list, the sound is pretty loud. But when I go to play the song, its quieter than the preview.

Also, the intro to the song is loud, then when you're supposed to start playing, it gets quieter.

On a couple of songs, the sound will fluctuate throughout the song. The sound seems to change at the same place in each song too. It would get quieter in the same place of "Journey - Don't Stop Believing" no matter how many times I played that song.

I noticed the problem on my 32" LCD HD TV, but I thought it was the TV on its way out. I have bought a new 22" LCD HD TV for my room, and I'm getting the same problem.

However, the problem doesn't seem to effect older TVs that use the SCART interface. I don't understand it though, because whether I use SCART or Component, they both use the same two sound cables.

Edit; The title should read Rock Band 2 sound issues

Re: Rock Band 2 sound issues

never tried the Rock Band 2, but on the 1st, I had to set the audio options up for my surround sound equipment. Is there a Stereo option you can set the game to start with

Re: Rock Band 2 sound issues

There aren't any such settings on Rock Band 2. It loads the sound setup from your Xbox 360 console setup.

The game is fine on older TV's (CRT) via the SCART socket. The sound is perfect and there's no drops in volume. But if I connect the Xbox to any LCD TV's even using the SCART connection...it just drops randomly half way through the song.
