Wanting new hard drive
OK, I'm after a new hard drive because 20GB is far too small now. A 60GB may do me. Now my question is, is there anything I can buy to send everything from one hard drive to another?

Re: Wanting new hard drive
what? can you be a bit clearer what you mean? do you want to add an internal drive? and external one? things like the buffalo linkstation which plugs into a router has software that automatically copies certain files over. If you are adding an internal you can copy and paste? or do you mean to clone the drive you have now? and use the new one for your operating system?

Re: Wanting new hard drive
Probably a program like GHOST or PARTITION MAGIC would work but you'd have to attach both drives to a PC...although both of them are not freeware there are a few freeware programs out there...

Re: Wanting new hard drive
There is a new XBL 'kit' which includes a 60Gb drive, 3mth Live card and other bits n bobs - £55 at Play
Once you have it, you just phone up MS and ask for the disk transfer cable which sucks everything off the old one onto the new.

Ah, thank you! I was just going to get the same piece of kit for £60 from Game, thank you! You may of just saved me £5.
I'll give them a call tonight and ask for a cable.
Edit; damn - it's not in stock on Play.
